Return Policies
We offer 30 days store warranty on our products unless specified. Most products may also carry corresponding manufacturer warranty, please contact manufacturer for detail warranty information. Please note some products are with manufacaturer warranty only, such as Printer, Scanner,Camera, TV, Networking Product. In these cases customer must contact manufacturer to get the warranty repair or replacement.
We do not accept return, defective item can only be exchanged by the same items.
To request a warranty replacement you must request the RA (Return Authroization) from our Online Helpdesk within 30 calendar days from the day you purchase the product.
You are responsible for shipping the item(s) back to us and for the costs associated with that shipment.
Please pack the products properly and ship back return with tracking number. We are NOT responsible for any package lost or damaged during shipping.
We do not offer warranty for consumer products (i .e. software, toner cartridges, battery, blank CD, DVD media etc.)
Returns from U.S.A. must indicate the returned product as a defective return and declare product value on the customs form ($5 value) otherwise we may refuse the return due to customs and brokerage fees.
The above return & warranty policy is only for US & Canadian buyers. International buyers other than US & Canada must get warranty from corresponding manufacturer. We do not offer warranty replacement or return for international buyer due to high shipping cost.
Limited Warranty
BTEcomputer warrants to the original purchaser that any part of the hardware system excluding software, documentation and similar items will be free of defects in workmanship and materials for the period of your warranty from the date of delivery. During the warranty period, BTEcomputer will repair or replace, at its sole discretion, the defective hardware, free of charge for labor and parts. You are responsible for shipping the item(s) back to BTEcomputer and for the costs associated with that shipment. However, you may be charged for $25 labor fee plus return shipping charge if the returns found to be non-defective. The remedy for this breach of warranty is limited to replacement or repair with parts warranted for the longer of thirty (30) days or the remainder of the warranty period. Any additional purchases or upgrades will not extend this warranty. Excluded from this warranty is any damage caused during shipment (except the shipment to the original purchaser) and any damage caused by: impacts, fluids, fire, flood, wind, earthquake, lightning or similar disaster, unauthorized modifications, attachments or peripherals, improper use, environment, installation or electrical supply, improper maintenance, any other misuse, abuse, or mishandling. BTEcomputer's sole liability, under this warranty, for failure to repair or replace the hardware system after a reasonable number of attempts is limited to replacement or, at BTEcomputer's sole discretion, refund of the current market price. The above constitutes purchaser's exclusive remedies for breach of warranty. BTEcomputer shall, under no circumstances, be liable for any other damages, including but not limited to special, incidental, consequential and other similar claims whether based upon breach of contract, breach of warranty, negligence, absolute or strict liability, or any other similar theories. Damages excluded include but are not limited to: loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of use of the hardware system, loss of use of related equipment, cost of substitute or replacement equipment, down-time, purchaser's time, injury to property, and all claims of third parties.
BTEcomputer will not be responsible for consequential damage to the boards or the system or any of its components caused by either internal or external equipment, shorted connections or components not installed by or purchased from BTEcomputer. BTEcomputer will also not be responsible for damages to any components or loss of any data inadvertently caused by products, under normal or abnormal use, purchased from BTEcomputer. The limited warranty also does not cover damages or defects that may have been caused by: Shipping damage(other than the original shipment), improper installation or maintenance, misuse, neglect or improper environment, repair, modification, adjustment, or installation of options or parts not by an BTEcomputer employee, inadequate or excessive electrical power surges, or other power irregularities. BTEcomputer will also not replace, repair, or refund on any purchase if the item serial numbers do not match, or if the product is not sold directly by BTEcomputer.
Manufacturer Warranty
Manufacturers often offer additional warranty for their products. Manufacturer warranty infomation is provided us by suppliers / manufacturers and we list them solely as supplemental product information. We are trying our best to make this information as accurate as possible but unfortunately due to massive product information and constant policy changing from manufacturer it may not always be 100% accurate. We encourage customers contact the perspective manufacturer to verify warranty information before making the purchase or after warranty with BTEcomputer expires. BTEcomputer should assume no responsibility from any discrepancy for warranty information.
Customers may also pay BTEcomputer a service fee ($25 per item) plus shipping to have such warranty work completed through BTEcomputer
Warranty Forfeiture
Warranty is not granted if a product is returned without original invoice. Warranty is void if serial tags, receiving numbers, product stickers, or manufacturer seals have been removed, altered or tampered with. Warranty is void if mishandling, improper use, or defacing of the product that would normally void manufacturer's warranty has occurred. Products damaged due to improper or inadequate packaging when returned for RMA purposes are not granted warranty coverage.
